Terms of Service and Warranty Information
GENERAL REPAIR SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Upon accepting an estimate for repair, clients agree to pay the estimated price as noted in their invoice/estimate in full upon completion of work, plus up to 25% above the estimated cost if necessary. Our liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items and/or any third-party liability is limited to $2000 USD per instrument or the fair market value of the items, whichever is lower. Clients must collect their instruments within 7 days of the repair completion or pay a $50 storage fee for each additional day. Clients authorize the use of images, videos, and audio recordings of any item serviced in our workshop, as well as the use of their names and pictures in marketing materials.
GENERAL REPAIR SERVICE WARRANTY
Our repair and restoration work covers the specific work we performed under reasonable use for 90 days from the day the instrument left our workshop. All items must be delivered to our workshop for repairs under warranty with the original repair receipt. We are not responsible for lost time, wages, or any other losses related to our product or services.
LA CUSTOM PREAMP WARRANTY
The LA Custom Rhodes preamp is to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, within regular use for a period of 1 year from the date of pick up or shipping. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. We will exchange or fix defective preamps during the warranty period. Repair, exchange, or any other service offered by any entity other than us is not covered by our warranty. The customer is responsible for all transportation to and from us.
LA CUSTOM PREAMP RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
A request for return or exchange of the LA Custom Rhodes preamp must be made within 14 days of arrival. To be eligible for a refund your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. Products damaged in shipping due to poor packing will not be eligible for a refund. All returns must be returned with delivery tracking confirmation. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. To return a product: contact us by email and include your original invoice number and which item(s) you’d like to return/exchange. We will reply with an RMA number. Mail us back the item(s) at your own cost and be sure to insure your package. Once the return has been received and processed, we will contact you to confirm that a refund has been issued. You will receive a refund to the same payment method that was used to place the order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
The client is responsible for any duties taxes or import charges associated with any goods exported from our workshop.
