Installation Time

10 minutes

Instructions

Lift the plastic cover.

Remove the four screws that hold the front rail, two screws on each side of the rail.

Remove the four screws and four nuts that hold the name plate, then remove the name plate, pots and 1/4″ jack. Store them in a safe place in case you wish to revert to the original name plate.

Install the LA Custom Preamp using the original four screws and nuts from step 3.

Install the rail into the piano using the four screws from step 2 and place the plastic cover back in place.

Connect the supplied 4-pin adapter to the LA Custom Preamp, connect the power supply to the adapter and the 1/4″ left/right outputs to your audio interface/mixer stereo line level input.

Nir is the sweetest and he knows absolutely everything about Rhodes EPs. At drop off he was able to spot within minutes everything that was wrong and had be poorly fixed on my piano, and then it only took him 1 week to literally bring it back to factory specs. Not to mention that at pick up he took 1h to explain in details how I should maintain it so I could take care of fine adjustments and tuning myself. He is the only person you should reach out to if your Rhodes needs repairs.
